The Pittsburg-Camp County Public Library

Current Needs and Wishes....

PROJECT: VOLUNTEERS

If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know. We can certainly use your help in shelving books, maintaining the shelves, and general straightening up the areas, watering plants, etc. Even 1 hour per week that you can donate to a specific task will help the library!

PROJECT: AUTOMATING THE FRONT DOORS

COST:  APPROXIMATELY $12,500
The library is currently raising money to upgrade the facilities by automating the doors at both entrances. By putting double doors on the front entrance, (creating an airlock or storefront effect), this will provide extra usable space for the library, a place for wi-fi users to sit with their computers, and a dry, enclosed area for children waiting for their rides, and help to stop the cold winter drafts at the front of the building. This will create a ADA compliant entrance. We do need funds to accomplish this. The total project will cost $12,500.
